Simon has actively participated in standardisation since 1986 and is chairman of BSI GME21/7 – Condition Monitoring of Machines, and convenor of ISO TC108/SC5 WG8 – Condition Monitoring Guidelines. Standards he has project managed include ISO 17359, ISO 13380 and ISO 10816-6. He has been closely involved in the development of ISO 18436-2 and the UK's vibration monitoring training accreditation initiative with BINDT. |
